As part of this assignment, I assume myself to be the CEO of a reputed firm that already sells its products through its distribution network throughout the nation. I intend to create a dedicated division for health service and relief activities.

As per the current widespread prevalent situation, I design to build a testing facility for coronavirus patients in addition to providing advisories and general guidelines to prevent the spread of this epidemic.

As the coronavirus situation has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization, we need to upgrade medically in order to contain its spread. So, organizations should come forward in helping the government with their technical skills. As my organization has excellent business analytical skills, I can deploy it in this situation.

The most likely people to get affected by the virus are the ones with recent travel history preferably abroad. And if these persons have traveled abroad, they have most likely put their posts and pictures on Facebook, Twitter, and Google. So, my organization's analytics team along with some external support can try to create a database of these people and using this database, they can create a map of risky places right now and also alert the people living in these areas.

Some of the tech companies have already stepped forward in this situation. For example, Microsoft has released a tracker which details the spread of the virus and infection-related news of various countries. So, collaboration with some of the tech giants can improve our organizations' analytical capability in chalking out risky areas and issuing the necessary advisories in those areas.

Second, comes the treatment of the virus. Correct diagnosis is the key here. Patients wrongly diagnosed are a serious threat to society as a whole. As we know, there are limited centers for diagnosis and therefore patients with mild symptoms are not being treated right now. Their conditions worsen in 14 days and then they are diagnosed with complete illness. So, the nation as a whole needs to upgrade and add its diagnosis centers to provide a preliminary diagnosis to all its patients within the desired duration. In this area, my organization can leverage its skills to provide health service to the common people.

I aim to build testing centers specifically for this coronavirus ailment in collaboration with medical research bodies. There have been reports that various labs have already developed testing kits for coronavirus patients. However, due to inefficient distribution networks, these kits are not available in the local hospitals and test centers. I aim to use our organization's biggest strength which is our distribution network to transport these kits to every small village and town. As our products are transferred from our central warehouses to local shops and warehouses, we aim to use the same distribution network throughout the nation to transfer these kits from research labs to our warehouse to local distribution centers to finally local hospitals. We can transport these kits within 36 hours to anywhere within the nation through our efficient distribution network. So, we aim to collaborate with all medical labs and research bodies to provide their testing kits to us and then rely on our efficient delivery to local hospitals. This way, our organization can have a major impact on the timely testing of the infected ones and containing the spread of the virus.

In providing health services, I intend to use my organizations' analytics and distribution network strengths.
