Leadership is the ability by which a person direct others behavior at work place, guide them for better performance, give feedback, motivate and extend his support to meet the goals.

The leadership style that is used by most effective leader is democratic leadership style. This is also called participative style because the leader encourage the staff to take part in decision making process. This this of leader focus on job enhancement by giving responsibilities of decision-making and problem solving. The leader also focus on career development of staff and recognize them for good work.

The positives associated with the participative style are: -

• It helps in increasing productivity as the employees will take responsibilities and focus on meeting the goals.
• This type of leader also focus on providing job satisfaction to employees by providing them opportunities to grow and showcase their skills. This style balance both the people and task.
• The leader keeps the morale of the employees high and motivate them to work effectively. They focus on keeping the employees satisfied with their work which in turn makes the employees committed towards the organization and they exhibit highest level of performance.
