I'm reading good germs, bad germs: Health and survival in a bacterial world by Jessica Synder Sachs and need a good summary/synopsis of Part 4 of the book as I don't understand much of the reading. Please post below.

Maybe someone with access who has already read the book may be of better assistance.

GOOD GERMS, BAD GERMS: HEALTH AND SURVIVAL IN A BACTERIAL WORLD:-

-->This book mainly concentrates on the symbiotic connection between human beings and germs around us. Sachs attempts to rectify the idea of assuming that germs always must be detrimental for us and instead focuses to bring out the positive elements of this connection too.

-->The writer has employed both environmental and evolutionary strategies/ideas to confirm her points. She points out that why nowadays antibiotics aren't functioning that well or have lost their efficacy that she notes which is principal because of high dosages of antibiotics being prescribed for human beings.


-->She also attempts to clarify the cause of large growth in the prevalence of autoimmune disorders and allergies could be attributed to the assaults being performed by people about the bacterial world. She boosts the notion of re demonstrating a balanced connection between human beings and germs.

-->Sachs has also centered on the concept of hygiene Hypothesis' that states that many of the diseases such as allergies and inflammatory diseases which exist among the human inhabitants are a result of the fantastic sanitation and hygiene procedures, due to which the human body is not able to develop a resistance to them. As a consequence of which ingestion of antibiotics have improved that has resulted in diminished effectiveness of antibiotics together with time.
