Water molecule contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atom. Oxygen is electronegative and is deficient of two electron in its outer shell to complete octate. And hydrogen has 1 valence electron in the orbit. Therefore to complete the octate, oxygen share 2 electrons from two hydrogen atom. So by sharing or electrons both complete their outer shell electron.

A covalent bond, also called a molecular bond, is a chemical bond that involves the sharing of electron pairs between atoms. Polar covalent bonding is a type of chemical bond where a pair of electrons is unequally shared between two atoms. In a polar covalent bond, the electrons are not equally shared because one atom spends more time with the electrons than the other atom. Water molecular structure is bent due to high electronegativity of oxygen atom. So the H-O bond in water molecule contains polar covalent bonds.

Ionic bond is is due to transfer of electron from one atom to another.

One water molecule contains two H-O bond which is polar covalent bond. The bond between hydrogen of one molecule of water and oxygen of other molecule of water is hydrogen bon.

Hence option B. "polar covalent bond" is the correct answer.
