Number of aa individuals=28

frequency of aa genotype= number of individuals with aa genotype/total number of individuals

=28/200

= 0.14

the frequency of allele a = square root of the genotypic frequency of aa

= 0.14

= 0.374

frequency of allele a = 0.374
