Describe the type of timer (interval or absolute) needed and a reason for the following operations.
a.Alarm monitoring system
b.Climate control system
c.Elevator door opening/closing
d.Screen saver program
a. In the case of an alarm monitoring system, absolute timer is required to continuously monitor the data acquired by the system and alert the user on any detection. Since data needs to be monitored continuously an absolute timer would be the ideal choice in an alarm monitoring system.
b. In a climate control system, the data samples of weather at a place or a location are continuously analysed or periodically analysed based on the geographics of the area. Thus, the use of either of the absolute or interval timers can be done based on the situation and area of interest.
c. The elevator speed over a period of time is always constant. So, there is no need to continuously analyse the time during travel. After a fixed time interval, the door can be opened and after a certain time period the door can be made to close. Hence, an interval timer may be the ideal choice.
d. The screen saver program also follows the same idea of the previous question. The screen needs to go off after it has been inactive for a particular period of time set by the user. So, an interval timer is sufficient for a screen saver program.

In this exercise we want you to apply your knowledge of Relay Logic Instructions to design a program which will control the garage door system. The Door System includes: • A reversible Motor (Q4.0 moves the motor up and Q4.1 moves the motor down) • A pair of Limit Switches (I0.3 for top limit switch (LS1) and I0.4 for bottom limit switch (LS2) ) • An Operator Control Panel (Three pushbutton open (I0.0), close (I0.1), and stop (I0.2) , and...

Solve the following system of equations using matrices (row operations). If the system has no solution, say that it is inconsistent. Select the correct choice below and, if necessary, fill in the answer boxes to complete your choice. O A. The solution is C D (Simplify your answers.) OB. There are infinitely many solutions. The solution can be written as {(x2)x+ (Simplify your answer. Type an expression using y as the variable as needed.) O C. The system is inconsistent...
5. All of the following are true about projects and operations EXCEPT: A Operations are ongoing endeavours that produce repetitive outputs, with resources assigned to do basically the same set of tasks according to the standards institutionalzed in a product life cycle, whereas projects are temporary endeavours Projects require project management activities and skill sets, whereas operations require business process management, operations management activities, and skill sets. Projects can intersect with operations at various points during the product life cycle....
Please solve the following problem with programming using proper data structures. (Programming Language: Python) A similar application to the parentheses matching problem comes from hypertext markup language (HTML). In HTML, tags exist in both opening and closing forms and must be balanced to properly describe a web document. This very simple HTML document: Example> Hello, world is intended only to show the matching and nesting structure for tags in the language. Write a program that can check an HTML document...
