The main two leadership qualities displayed by most successful sales manager are confidence and communication. These qualities are base of any sales person. It is very important to be a effective sale manager that they are full of confidence and can communicate with the people in the most effective and convincing way.
I will appreciate the level of confidence in the leader. A manager should be confident enough that other follow his/her instructions. Leader is one to whom other follow and leader lead the other people so by having a confident manager as a leader whole group of people will grow together.
I had newly joined a firm. There were no friends of mine i was totally alone. For few days I had zero motivation and confidence for work. The most communication I have with my manager. He made me feel so comfortable. My leader make me grow. He assign me different task and made me believe that I can complete that task. The level of confidence he boost in me, made me love my work and workplace.
Yes I think confidence is most important because there are lots of people who are good at communication and convincing but communication should be full of confidence. The confidence should be visible in the communication of the person. It might possible that you speck a lie but the confidence convert that lie into truth.
