There are times when an occurring labor strike really inconveniences the customer or the community! Some examples include: the 1994-1995 Major League Baseball Strike, the 2007 Screenwriter’s Strike, the 2005 New York City Transit Strike, and even the many teachers strikes that have occured around the US. Many people were inconvenienced by this!

How would you might feel, as a customer or community member who is inconvenienced by a labor strike? Even though inconvenienced, would you sympathize with one party or the other? What could you do to help facilitate a resolution?

answer-

Strike action is a work stoppage, caused by the mass refusal of employees to work. A strike usually takes place in response to employee grievances. we know that when strike occurs production process stops means we do not get products which we need on time like if teachers strikes then we do not get classes which affect our scores and can lead to bad grades in future. these create inconvenience for us but i think i would not feel horrible but feel happy that in our country we have rights of freedom and right to collect and gather in order to ask for our demands.

i would try to feel sympathy for employees who are doing strike because they may not be getting fair workplace, fair wages to live their lives. strike and inconvenience can be for some temporary time but it helps others like labors to get what they deserve rightfully.

as customers we can help to resolve the strike by posting online or taking part in community to show employer that stop the strike and agree to demand of labors if their demands are legal and logical otherwise they may lose their precious customers. customers has huge power to affect the decisions of the employers.
