Ans.

Here, I have drawn pictures of four types of rock failures, let's explain them below.
Rock fall - In case of rock fall, big block of rock is carried down under the impact of gravity under its own weight. It siimply refers to free fall of a rock from cliff face. It can occur when the support from below is removed, when there is mechanical weathering (like freezing and melting cycles, heating and cooling of rocks at night and day, plant growth in the rocks etc).
Hence in this, big blocks fall down.
Rock slide - It is another process which is a type of landslide which is also influenced by mechanical weathering and the boulders (smaller as compared to that in rock fall) come down under the impact of gravity while rolling along the slope of the rock. It can specially be triggered when there is access rainfall and a medium is provided to the rocks to slide and fall.
Rotational slide - Under this, rock debris is taken in a rotational manner in an axis parallel to slope contour. It is almost parallel to the ground surface. it is mostly a case when slump (which is wet) or other rock parts are carried along a concave slope. It thus makes original surface more steep.
Creep - It is a slow movement as compared to all the above since here the sediment particle size is small and they move at a very gentle slope in a horizontal manner to the earth surface.
As the name suggests, this movement is very slow and triggers under the impact of water (i.e. when water is provided to the surface i.e. during rains)
I hope the answer is clear to you, in case you have any query, please leave a comment, we will try our best to fix it. If you are satisfied with the answer, leave a thumbs up, your support is valuable. Thank You
