Answer #1

In Zebrafish, following sperm entry, the egg undergoes rapid synchronous partial cleavage leaving a very small amount of yolk (telolecithal ) to form. The yolk free region is called blastodisc which divides by meroblastic discoidal cleavage till the 7th cycle of cell division which takes 3/4 hours. Blastula is formed then and blastomere undergoes asynchronous cleavage and epiboly movement takes place giving a lengthened pattern to the embryo. After 8 tiers blastomeres, flattened blastodisc is formed which turns the shape of zyto to ellipsoid moving on to the next gastrulation.
