Discuss the terms nature and nurture as they pertain to human development.
Nature refers to the genetic endowment of the Individual when it comes to human development. Nature refers to the inherited traits that an individual has, in terms of physical and emotional Development. It refers to the internal factors which affects human development. Nurture refers to the way in which an individual is brought up, that is the environmental factors which affects Development. This includes the external factors affecting Development such as the physical , mental and social environment. Both nature and nurture plays a role in Development of the Individual. For example, a person's height is influenced both by heredity (nature) along with the diet and exercise that they take (nurture).
