✓ training is an important function in human resources management. It helps to enhance the specific capabilities or skills of the organisation employees, to make them competitive and enhance their efficiency. But, training involves cost and many arrangements to meet the needs of training and making the employees learn new skills or enhance existing one.

When the organisation feels that training is not providing Better results, and employees are not ready to learn, it becomes reluctant to invest in training programs. But, the management must identify the reason for employees not happy to learn new skills and ways to make training an effective tool for improvement of performance and growth.

An organisation can only grow if it is responsive to the changes and bring needful transformations if the environmental factors Influence it. Thus, to have more capable employees, management must conduct effective training and development programs.
