Even though visual communications is a costly mode of communication in business but it is adapted for the advantages it has got. Visual communications are more effective and put more emphasis on oral communication. The impact of visual communication is more on the viewer. It can be understood better than communication in other modes. A message said orally can be misunderstood, half-heard or unclear to the person. But visual communication helps to avoid all such errors. Presentations and visual slides help in conveying plans and strategies to a large number of groups easily in one go. It does not have a language barrier as with graphics and pictures message can be communicated more conveniently. The audience of visual communication can be more as the options to communicate visually are diverse and more effective. It is a faster way of communication also as the receiver understand and responses quicker on visual displays. Hence it is a time effective mode. With such advantages to it, visual communication is adapted by companies given its high cost of production.
