- They help in absorption of nutrients.
- Some change in no. of bacteria in small intestine may cause production of gas. Probiotics and Lactobacillus reduce production of gas and bloating.
- Conditions like ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease and necrotizing enterocolitis cause bowel disorders and bloating feeling. Probiotics from the Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus strains improve these symptoms.
- They give a boost to the immune system by fighting off the unfriendly organisms by producing natural antibodies.
