Many organizations are collecting, swapping, and selling personal information as a commodity and many people are looking to governments for protection of their privacy, while others are concerned for their privacy due to legislation such as the Freedom from Information Act. Do you feel organizations and current legislation is doing a good job of protecting your private information? If so, why? If not, why not?

There are multiple ways to protect the private data organizations are using encryption and decryption methodologies to safeguard the privacy of data.

The encrypted data cannot be visible to the third party unless it is decrypt using the key.

Freedom from information act has nine exemptions and there having the statement not to indulge in personal privacy. It is exempted from the freedom from information act.

Legislation are providing a higher fine amount for the people overruling the laws in the data security policies.

So, We can say that organizations and current legislation is doing a great job for protecting our private data in many possible ways.
