In the clip you saw from Moonraker, near the end Jaws catches up to James Bond and is about to attack him. James opens his parachute, and appears to fly UP ... but you know from our examinations of air resistance that he should not actually move upwards due to this. Explain what is occurring here to cause the visuals you saw. Your answer should be fairly thorough; it does not need to be at all mathematical, but should use the terms force, acceleration, and velocity at least once each.

Yes he is not moving upward . It's just that he is being deaccelarated due to the sudden upward force act on him when he opens up parachute . And the velocity decreases .But at the same time the other guy moves downward with same acceleration. That's why it looks like James bond moving upward from the other guy point of view .
