Yes, the importance of HRM can be seen in the sense the different activities are performed by it. The basic obligation of HRM is to facilitate the human resource requirements of the organization. For this, it searches and selects the best talent in the industry

But when a candidate is selected, it is important not only to groom him or her but also to make an effort to maintain and sustain in the firm. This can only be done when the employees feel that they are being treated equally and have an equal opportunity to grown within the organization and no discrimination take place among the different individuals. This is also the core of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Therefore one of the main roles of HRM is also to ensure equal opportunities to all the employees, facilitating equal treatment and training to all the manpower.
