Answer #1

MHC molecules are those kinds of proteins that are responsible to presenting antigens to the T cells. When a particular antigen enters the immune system and is encountered by the immune system cells, they are either endocytosed or chewed up and processed within the cells and are then presented by the MHC molecules to the T cells. The processed antigenic peptides have diverse composition and are not specific. Any part of the peptides can be presented by the MHC and there is not much specification .

Immunoglobins, on the other hand, are specific antibodies that bind the antigens on their variable regions and help in the destruction of the antigens.

The diversity varies due to the presence of the amino acid sequences present at the variable region of the Ig molecules that are not present in the MHC molecules

Please answer, hitting all the info asked for in the question! Both Immunoglobulins and the proteins of the MHC complex are.capable of recognizing a very broad range of proteins or peptides associated with pathogens. Their methods of establishing this wide repertoire of recognition is established at the genetic level, but have no similarities in the processes.
