1) potential sources of soil salinity - minerals in the parent rock, sea water, irrigation water.

Remedies : drain with clear irrigation water, application of compost or activated charcoal.

2)c. Base growth temperatures donot affect the rate its the temperature conditions at the time of growth that shall dictate the rate of growth of a plant.

3) advantages of no - tillage are :

Reduced soil erosion, reduced soil compaction, cost and fuel efficient, less moisture loss and better quality of soil.

4) d. All of the above.

Leaves have nodes which are site of lateral branching; rhizomes of specialized plants that develops shoots and roots at their nodes and crown of a plant is its upper part which states above the ground and hence includes stems which have nodes.
