Nucleotide pools are kept relatively low but what nucleotide is not kept at a low concentration inside the cell?
The pool of ATP, adenosine triphosphtae is kept high inside a cell. This is because this nucleotide is not only involved in the synthesis of nucleic acid, but it is the energy currency of the cell also. It is used by the cell to perform all its metabolic activities like synthesis of complex polymeric substance like starch, cellulose, movement of cell organelles, pumping of ions against concentration gradient, movement of chromosomes during cell division etc.
Other nucleotides, GTP, CTP, TTP and UTP are maintained at low concentration in a cell.
Please rate high.

A fish is placed in a freshwater environment with a low NaCl concentration environment. The pressure tolerance of fish cells membrane is 5 atm, the surronding osmotic pressure on the cell membrane is 28.6 atm. Luckily, cell membranes have ion channels which allow salt concentration to change. If the following "reaction" follows zero order kinetics, with a reaction constant of 10 mM/hr, how long does the fish need to acclimised to its new salt concentration? Na+ (inside) + Cl- (inside)...
Which adenine nucleotide is present in the lowest concentration in the typical cell? ATP fructose 6-phosphate AMP phosphoenolpyruvate O NADH
