1. Snake

2. Tortoise

3. Crocodile

The characteristics that make them different are as follows:

Characteristic of Snakes are -

• Unlike other reptiles the are devoid of limbs.
• Temporal fossae are absent.
• They are typically scaly and worm like animals.
• Freely movable Maxillae, pterygoids and palatines.
• Might be or might not be poisonous.

Characteristic of Tortoise

• Body is dorsoventrally flattened and elliptical
• Retractable neck, limbs and tail. Having short tail
• Jaws are covered by sharp horny plates in adults and teeth are absent.
• They are oviparous.
• Body is covered by shield like carapace (dorsally) and by plate known as plastron (ventrally) .

Characteristic of Crocodile

• Their heart has four chambered.
• Eyes are having pectin.
• Possess webbed digits in forelimbs and have pentadactyl limbs.
• The tail is laterally compressed which help them to swim in water.

Characteristic of Lizard are-

• Upper and Lower eyelids are movable .
• Single temporal fossa present on each side of skull.
• Tongue is usually entire and broad .
• Have distinct tympanum.
