what are 2 potential reasons for decline in processing with age? Explain what external and internal memory aids are and provide an example for each
The main theories that explain the cognitive decline associated with aging are the shrinking volume and degeneration. As age increases brain volume starts to reduce. This happens after age of 40 ( Up to 20 years brain expands in volume). Cortex areas began to shrink at this age which can contribute to cognitive decline. Blood flow also tends to decrease over age. As of degeneration, dendritic loss occurs. This is loss of neural connections. Extensions of neurons and its connection to adjacent neurons are lost. These all together decreases memory, ability to learn and slight decrease in general intelligence.
To cope with this decline in the cognitive abilities many interventions can be done. This can be either external aid or internal aid.
Internal aids include mental encoding and retrieval strategies. Mental encoding can be done through visual imagery, where the thing to remember is narrated as a visual image. Individual is trained to imagine the content to be remembered in a visual format. Repeating or rehearsing can also help to remember but this has a lot of limitations.
External aids include are memory supporting aids. One can give sticky notes over their mirror to remember to take medicine or can set an alarm in their phone to remind them to do a particular task. An active care taker can monitor these aids to lead a normal life for the aged person.

2 [6 points) What is the difference between internal and external memory fragmentation? Give an example of where each kind might occur
Explain internal and external evidence. Analyze if the combination of internal and external evidence benefits the patient. Describe an example from your practice.
Explain internal and external equity. Why are they important? Provide an example of a time you worked where there was good or poor internal or external equity. How did that impact morale and the organization? Knowing what you know now, what would you change if you could?
1. Discuss internal and external users of accounting information. What areas of accounting provide them with information? Give an example of the type of report each type of user might use. 2. Explain the meaning of the business entity concept. 3. What is the major difference between the objective of financial accounting and the objective of managerial accounting?
Give an explanation of a threat to internal validity and a threat to external validity in quantitative research. Next, explain a strategy to mitigate each of these threats. Then, identify a potential ethical issue in quantitative research and explain how it might influence design decisions. Finally, explain what it means for a research topic to be amenable to scientific study using a quantitative approach
Explain how an external attacker could attempt to determine what servers are accessible on the internal network, and which servers are blocked by the firewall.
Plant Structure – internal and external 1) You are given part of a plant that was dug up in the garden that might be a horizontal root or a horizontal stem. Explain how you would tell which it is. Consider both external morphology and internal anatomy. 2) You look in a microscope and see a root with a root hair or a branch root. Explain how you could identify whether it is a root hair or a branch root. 3)...
Please explain each of Four Types of Validities and give example of them: 1.Construct 2.External 3.Statistical 4.Internal
Memory Allocation a) Is it possible to have both internal and external fragmentation with fixed partition memory allocation? How about with dynamic/variable memory partition allocation? Explain. (1 point) b) Suppose we have 1000K of memory where the first 100K is reserved. Also suppose that the following processes have been allocated memory in the following order: P1: 100K, P2: 100K, P3: 25K, P4: 200K, P5: 200K, P6: 75K, P7: 100K. Create a diagram of memory. Suppose that P2, P4, and P6...
