A typical decision making method which I have used on a daily basis in case of confusion in small groups includes analysis the strengths and weaknesses of each of the available alternatives and choosing the one with the most favorable aspects. The advantages of this method is that it prevents jumping to hasty conclusions and avoids mistakes in the future. The disadvantages are that it is time consuming. Another experience which I have personally had with decision making is in the case of using reasoning, in order to come to a conclusion. This was chosen because it helped one to think logically regarding an aspect.
