Imagine that you are teaching a young child to discriminate between two different categories of items (you can decide what the groups consist of but make sure they are different from what I talked about in the lectures). How would you use discrimination training to teach the child to discriminate these two categories of items? Make sure to fully explain the procedure by identifying what will function as the SD, S-Delta, the target response, and the consequence. When might it be appropriate to use prompting and how could it be accomplished? How might you fade these prompts?

As a teacher , we should teach chilldren more conveniently to distinguish between two fact . So , while teach to diffrent catagory item , then teacher Should also behave differently. If a teacher concept trees and mango trees then of course he needs to act differently . The best approch to teach about discriminate of item is comparison. When we compare between two item in terms of concept , features , and implication .

Besides , teacher can uses various promt and cues to discriminate the concept and encourage in learning . A teacher should reinforced learner for discriminate the concept . Learner can percived difference among stimuli. Child Should learned through symbols and reinforcement .

Prompt should used when learner have good enough knowledge and well familized with concept but still not can able to discriminate the concept . So when provide appropriate verbal prompt, stimulus prompt then can able to show desirable behaviour in classroom .
