NCBI being the first site it is popular among  the people.

BLAT is also a search tool which is faster than BLAST as it is generally used to search sequences(nucleotide alignment) between protein ,EST, and RNA-seq as well as for mRNA and genomic DNA .Due to fewer feature in BLAT as compaired to BLAST it is not generally used.
