Some of the difficulties user or organization face when it deploys a marketing dashboard is that Sometimes marketing dashboard is not able to provide accurate KPI because of problem in programming to develop the dashboard so organization may face issue of calling developer in the organization and solve the issue.
another difficulty is to choose the best KPI for marketing success and measurement so too many KPI may give too much information which can cause confusion and late decision making and too less KPI information lead to poor decision making and strategies for marketing so the balance and right use of KPI is required.
the use and knowledge of KPI requires talented and skilled employee so if person has lack of analytical knowledge and skills to use the dashboard in marketing then they tend to refuse the deployment or ignore the use of marketing dashboard in the organization.
Compatibility and interfacing are also common challenges of marketing dashboards. If a dashboard would not able linked with other critical business systems like sales, finance etc , the information they provide will be incorrect, outdated, or otherwise limited in its usefulness. To bridge the gap users will have to manually input data, thereby defeating the purpose of the dashboard.
