Answer #1

Burning fossil fuels like coal and oil puts more carbon dioxide into our atmosphere. Too much of these green house gases can cause earth's atmosphere to trap more and more heat . This causes earth to warm , our atmosphere contains carbon dioxide, methane , and other gases that prevent that energy from existing back into space resulting in a rise in temperature of earth.

The major gases are carbon dioxide, water vapor, methane, nitrous oxide. These gas molecules all are made up of two or three molecule of atoms and these are held together loosely that they vibrate when they absorb heat.
