There isn't a reading passage for this, it's a research project and these are the questions for it. The ecosystem is Estuaries, and the questions have to of with producers in Estuaries.

What is the role of producers in Estuaries?  

  1. What types of producers are present?

  1. What type of adaptations do they have that let them survive in your habitat?

  1. Do they have to compete for resources? How do they compete?

  1. Do they provide any services to your biome/ecosystem outside of food production?

  1. If there are no producers, where does the food web in your ecosystem start that can explain nutrient inflow?

Phytoplanktons,single celled bacteria,algae are the main primary producers.They are the food producers in estuaries.they give oxygen,also their decaying biowaste is useful.
