Answer :-Multi-mapped reads are sequences that map the genome more than once, for example, because there are multiple copies of a gene, such as precursors for tRNA.Such methods have a number of drawbacks, including: depends on existing knowledge of genome sequence; cross-hybridization lead to high background levels and limited dynamic detection range due to both background and signal saturation.
