The main intention of any war is to cause damage to something digitalized,e., it can be a place, person or country.

In olden days people invade other country or places and loot their wealth. Nowadays the trend has changed i,e., strict rules have been made for invading other countries or places so the government of different countries has chosen another way to cause damage to their opponents.

In this present world, everything is digitilized, i.e., people are so reliant on machines. That is from buying food to sending money, buying diapers to buying automobiles people are using mobiles or pcs and internet.

A cyber war is nothing but attacking electronic machines which are connected to the internet through some viruses or trojans and stealing the data from those machines. Hacking other countries details i,e., stealing important information of countries with the help of hackers so that, the information stolen can be used against that country which could cause severe loss to those countries.

Using that data huge damage can be caused to the country. Governments are more interested in this cyberattacks because they can be launched from anywhere irrespective of time or place, unlike other attacks need a specific time and suitable place to attack. So governments probably choose cyberattacks. The intensity of destruction for a cyberattack is comparatively high compared to other attacks which include traditional tools of war, i,e., usage of guns or warfare machinery.
