If a source of knowledge is unreliable, it means these sources can trick us into believing falsehoods. Does it follow from the fact that we are sometimes mistaken when we rely on these sources that we are always mistaken? In other words, once we admit is possible that we are mistaken, does that mean that we need to admit that we might never be correct? How would you respond to the skeptic?
There remains a need to check the validity of knowledge which we are getting through various sources. We should understand the fact the truth is the only parameter for checking the true nature of knowledge. A belief of confidence should be generated whenever we acquire some knowledge.
We should test our knowledge. Its acceptance by majority of people also determines it's validity. A critical thinking approach is must for testing the validity and true nature of acquired knowledge. Initially, it was claimed that earth is flat but now we know that earth is spherical. It means that evidences should always be there to support a fact then only the validity of a claim can be checked.
Awareness is the best key to correct the false knowledge. We should not adopt a rigid nature. We should learn from others. We should become an active listener if we wish to acquire a true and meaningful knowledge. Practicing a true knowledge will provide same results again and again.
If this repetitive pattern is not being observed then we should adopt a critical approach for knowledge rectification. We should develop an open attitude. Our senses must be active enough so that we can identify the minute changes taking place in our surroundings. All these are the methods through which we can prove validity of our knowledge.
If a source of knowledge is unreliable, it means these sources can trick us into believing...
