Ethics of justice is based on principles like justice, fairness, equality, or authority. Ethics of care is based on a sense of responsibility to reduce actual harm or suffering.

Suppose your boss orders you to do something that will hurt someone (within the realm of business; assume no physical harm). If you carry out the order, have you done anything wrong? Discuss your answer.

By following the orders given by the boss which is likely to hurt someone within the realm of business is unfair and unethical due to following reasons :

a. Unethical practices while doing business such as politics at the workplace, dismissal of the employee for wrong reasons are the unethical practices which can hurt the reputation and the moral of the employees.

b. Being over competitive and using the tactics which are not based upon Ethics of Justice and Ethics of Care can be a warning signs for the unethical decision making.

c. As carrying out the order given by the boss without using the one's common sense and hurting other individual while doing the business can be wrong and against the morals, values, and norms the individual posses.
