Answer-The poet starts off calm with no form of anger within her. After the first six stanzas, her emotions rise like she is angry. This is in response to the words spoken in the 'I rise'.

The calmness in the first few six stanzas depict her calmness like nothing fazes her, like the attitude of the people around her does not have any effect on her. The rising tone shows how the challenges she faces, do not affect her, she keeps on growing, going against her enemies wishes
