In this topic you will pick and research one of the elements. Be sure to claim your element by placing it in your Subject Heading, and then you can return to your post with your summary. For the element you pick label and provide the following element name symbol atomic number write out the equation for mass number = number of protons + number of neutrons provide the Period and Group (Group name) it belongs too. What are some of the properties your element has that determined its placement? is it a metal, nonmetal or metalloid? Research any isotopes that your element has and provide them. Using the "Chemistry equation" function, write out the Atomic Symbols for your Isotopes. How did you element get its name? What are some uses of this substance? How is it commonly encountered?
