A linear actuator is required to provide 500 N of thrust at a linear speed of 5 cm/s. A M20-4 lead screw is connected to a large pulley that has a diameter 5 times greater than a smaller pulley on the other end of the belt connected to the motor. If friction causes the system to be only 50% efficient, determine the RPM and torque requirement of the DC motor when meeting the required linear actuator specifications.
