The organization i consider as a system is Mcdonalds which is very famous fast food restaurant in the world. The main features of its inputs are that Mcdonalds source raw materials like potatoes from organic farms, Beef and other meat from meat house in village areas, Sugar and coffee from farmers. these inputs are very ongoing in nature because if they are stopped at one point of time then Mcdonalds will not be able to deliver the food to its customers. The process include people in the Kitchen who make patties for burger, Cut potatoes by machines and fry them in the machine, heat Burger buns then prepare the burger. there are more than one process going on in Mcdonalds. The front end requires taking order and payment process while in the back, there is food prep is going on. Output is the result of effective flow of input then process and the order went to the table of customer. all features work in sync so that output that is food is of high quality and on time.
If i were change the process for example- if i make the process that all the burgers are prepared in advance without any orders from customer then output will be waste of food because already prepared Burgers will get cold and customers would not want to order old and cold burger.
another change say, if say that customers can come to counter and prepare their own burgers by arranging the ingridients in the counter like how much tomoatoes , sauce, meat, onions etc they want they can arrange then it would slow the output because there would be delay in delivery. customers will take their time and there would be much waste while preparing food.
