Answer #1

In the recent years, there has been a spurt in the manner in which population had been growing. The increase in population could not only be attributed to the increasing health care services, but also to the considerable increased in maternity care. Along with this increase in population, there also lies an increased requirement to feed the population.

This feeding population is not located to one particular area, but, there has been a global network established, where there are growers, there are suppliers as well as there are distributors. There has been an increase in agricultural development. This increased agricultural development has given rise to a number of problems which are as follows:

  • environment: there has been a decline in the levels of groundwater. Also, there have been an increase in the emission of green house gases.
  • Population: with the increase in population, there has been a much greater pressure placed on the ability of the farmlands to meet this demand. With an increase in population of almost 30% in the next 30 years, there would be an increase in 70% of food production requirements. This is causing a lot of problems, as, this would create moe number of people who would be malnourished if adequate demands could not be met,
  • health: with the increase in population, there has been an increase in the number of people who add to the list of under nourished or malnourished. Also, the burden to feed such a huge population is being taken up by the ground, with, an increase in the number of children or people who are malnourished.

changes in the daily routine that could be brought up in order to reduce the impact on environment are:

  • reduce using of plastic
  • re-using the water that is coming from air conditioners,
  • planting more trees as a routine, and encouraging others to do the same.
