Answer #1

The input 5.1V is applied at the collector terminal of the 2n3904 transistor which is an NPN transistor. The emitter of this transistor is connected to a junction where the negative terminal of the speaker is connected to a 220uF capacitor and the emitter terminal of the 2n3906 transistor which is a PNP transistor.

The collector terminal of the 2n3906 is connected to the emitter terminal of another 2n3904 transistor. The base terminal of the 2n3906 connected to the junction where the collector of the second 2n3904 terminal. The first 2n3904 transistor's base is connected to the 2n3906 transistor's base via two 1N4148 diodes. The second base terminal of the 2n3904 is connected to a signal generator via a capacitor. Resistors are also connected with the base of the first 2n3906 transistor to the negative of the speaker and another resistor is connected to the junction of NPN and PNP transistor and second terminal of the resistor is connected to the base of 2n3904 transistor and the capacitor

Working: The signal generator is set to AC mode with 2Vp-p. The output of this is given to the capacitor in order to filter out the noise and drive in the pure input without any distortions. The output is now given to the base of the second NPN transistor which activates it. (Transistors are activated only when the base terminals ON). This same input is also bypassed to a junction where the collector of the first NPN transistor and the emitter of the PNP transistors and the output of the speaker is connected through a capacitor of 220uF, which is in turn connected to the negative end of the speaker.
The base of the first NPN and the PNP transistor is connected through two diodes for the following reasons:

The current shouldn't flow in the opposite direction.
The magnitude of the PNP transistor is strengthened when it is connected through two diodes or it is amplified.
When the base of the NPN and the PNP transistor is activated, a signal is produced which is in turn reflected in the form of sound and that is being transmitted or given as an output through the speaker.

Budgeting for an Academic Department at a State University: Can You Believe the Numbers? INTRODUCTION You are the senior accounting faculty member in the business school and your dean, Dean Weller, is asking for help. She is very discouraged after a midyear budget meeting with the Vice President of Finance. The college's Department of Social Work has a large budget deficit, and because of this the VP is inclined towards closing the department entirely or closing its bachelor's program. The...

    10. Write a one-page summary of the attached paper? INTRODUCTION Many problems can develop in activated sludge operation that adversely affect effluent quality with origins in the engineering, hydraulic and microbiological components of the process. The real "heart" of the activated sludge system is the development and maintenance of a mixed microbial culture (activated sludge) that treats wastewater and which can be managed. One definition of a wastewater treatment plant operator is a "bug farmer", one who controls the aeration...
