Do you find yourself with anxiety before an exam? What are some things you do to take away from this anxiety? After reading this chapter, how do you think you will study for a nursing exam?

As the exams approaches every student feels anxious. students feel pressurised with the lengthy course, little amount of time for preparation and unclear concepts and doubts.

Yes I too feel anxious as the exams approach. Scoring good grades and scores in exams is a tough task. But I try to keep myself calm and composed by listening to soothing music, taking sufficient amount of sleep, eating healthy and practicing meditation. Muscle relaxation technique, yoga and exercise also helps me keep calm. I practice positive self talk techniques like I can do it, I will try my best to keep me boosted and encouraged.

This chapter has helped me a lot to organise myself during exams. The few things I will follow from this chapter are :

1.time management : I will first prioritize the things that are necessary and then manage my time accordingly. I will divide the syllabus into small topics and then divide my time accordingly for each topic so that I can finish my syllabus on time.

2. Clear doubts and concepts : instead of mugging up things i will try to build the concepts so that it will become easy for me to understand them. This will help me answer the questions in exam in effective and efficient manner.

3. I will try to improve my handwriting so that the examiner can easily read it

4. I will try to write the answers precisely and to the point. This will help me finish the paper in time.

5. I will try to answer all the questions in points and draw as much diagrams as possible to present my answer in better and clear way.
