The black churches have served as places for safe heaven throughout the black history.They have helped to provide wisdom and knowledge to the people and kept them rooted in the work that they do. They have helped to shape the mindset of the people and how they view the life like. They help to build faith in the people. The black women's roles have transformed hugely over the past couple of years from the more traditional roles as leaders of women in missionary to taking up high end positions there. Their voices matter to people and there is full say in their beliefs and opinions. They have come up a long way since the past few years. Well we can argue the statement that  Barack Obama represents a transformation in black elected officials in quite a number of ways.The age of Obama has fostered an intense racialization of U.S. politics and an eruption of agonistic identity politics across partisan lines which will have a huge impact in the years to come surely.
