The recrystallization yield is generally low. It depends on the solubility of the compound in the solvent used. If solubility is high , yield will be low. Moreover, the overall yield depends on the amount of by products formed. If they are more in amount, yield of acetanilide will decrease.

in recrystallization of acetanilide experiment, i got a recovery yield of 10% and percentage yield of...
in
a synthesis of acetanilide experiment, i performed
recrystalization. i used my recovered product to test for
impurities. My TLC and melting point analysis seems as if there are
no impurities however my nmr shows an impurity maybe consistent
with hydrolysis of acetanilide. (50mg was mixed with 400
microliters of deuterated chloroform for NMR) the impurity that im
talking about can be seen below with label “figure this out”
is the peak because hydrolysis?
When could have hydrolysis happened and...
Is the small impurity on my hnmr of acetanildine from solvent
residual signal?
please explain why it is there and where it coems from

hydrolysis of acetanilude was taking place

I've zoomed in and taken more pictures of the 4 H NMR
spectrum. I would appreciate any explaination or work. Thank you so
much!!
6. (Bpts) For each example below, draw a structure that is consistent with the formula and 'H NMR spectrum provided. In some cases, additional IR spectral information is provided. Assign each peak to the appropriate hydrogen atoms in the structure by using the labeling convention discussed in class. Ciottie interes 40 - 5.0 S&= 6.2 Adjusted...

I have most of the information, but I need help to organize it
based on the prompts below the pictures.
Mass Spec
Molecular Weight:
Important Fragments; what are they and what do they mean? (base
peak structure, is there a halogen, is there a benzene ring, is
there an odd number of nitrogens, other important fragments that
tell something about the structure)
IR
Is there an OH? Wavenumber?
Is there a carbonyl group? If so what type (acid. ester, amide,...
for this experiment i got a yield of 0.02g. what is the
theoretical and percentage yield?

Hi it's python I imported a data which are so many words in txt
and I arranged and reshaped with alphabetically both rows and
columns
I was successful with these steps but I am stuck with next
step
below is my code and screenshot
import numpy as np
import pandas as pd
data=pd.read_csv("/Users/superman/Downloads/words_file2.txt",header=None)
df_input=pd.DataFrame(data)
df_output=pd.DataFrame(np.arange(676).reshape((26,26)),
index =
['a','b','c','d','e','f','g','h','i','j','k','l','m','n','o','p','q','r','s','t','u','v','w','x','y','z'],
columns =
['a','b','c','d','e','f','g','h','i','j','k','l','m','n','o','p','q','r','s','t','u','v','w','x','y','z'])
df_output.index.name="Start"
df_output.columns.name="End"

This below screen shot is what I have to find
I have to find each word...
Can someone please tell me what chapters (1-5) these questions
are based on? I have already answered the questions and understand
how to solve the material, but i want to be able to pinpoint where
i can find this info. in the book. I am using Brigham’s
Fundamentals of Financial Management (pictures attached). If it is
hard to read, please let me know. i will post better pictures. i
know the time vale of money stuff already
EDIT: HERE IS...
