In Eukaryotic gene expression, ds rna plays an important role in expression .

Double stranded RNA regulate gene expression by a process called RNA interference . In this process , ds rna is broken into short fragments which :

  • may lead to nuclear modification and increase heterochromatin;
  • may destroy mRNA by binding to specific regions ,
  • by modifying mRNA which inhibits translation.

By all these ways , ds rna can inhibit gene expressession.

So , Correct choices should be :
