(a) As the purchasing manager of a construction business that builds office blocks, I would require bricks, cement, and other building materials. I would describe the desired quality as unadulterated materials i.e. not mixed with low quality materials if similar appearance and resilient to natural and man made shocks so that they do not wear and tear easily over time.

(b) In order to monitor and control the quality of the materials, I would get quality checks done of the arriving materials. This can be done by testing a sample of each material for its authenticity. If the sample tested is not upto the mark, it is reported and sent back. Only good quality materials are allowed to enter.
