Phase and group velocities in a rectangular waveguide. Write functions waveguidePhaseVelocity() and waveguide- GroupVelocity() in MATLAB to compute the phase velocity (vp) and group velocity (vg), respectively, of a propagating wave in a rectangular waveguide (Fig.11.1), using Eqs.(11.16) and (11.17). The input to the functions consists of the intrinsic phase velocity of the waveguide dielectric (c), operating frequency of the waveguide (f), in general, as a vector of values, and cutoff frequency of the waveguide for a particular mode (fc).
