Draw and dimension the load and reaction diagram, the shear diagram, and the bending moment diagram for the beams shown in the following figures:

A uniformly distributed stress, either tension or compression, is applied to the right and left edges of the plate shown in Fig. 1. A uniform tension or compression is also applied to the top and bottom edges. After the loads are acting, the final dimensions of the plate are 299.7 mm and 500.2 mm. Find the values of σx and σy if the material is steel in the as-rolled condition.
