There are several cultural and traditional practices .... they as listed as below..

1. Bhuddism : they believe in life after death. They give utmost respect to the body believing that that spirit will have happy journey while leaving the body. The burial in done in simple chapel where the body is kept inside the coffin and surrounded by fonded stuffs of the dead person.

2.Christian: they also believe in rebirth. The body is kept cleanly and prayer will be carried on.... they body is taken to the church and mass offering for the dead is done. Then body is buried...

3.Hindu: they believe in incarnation. When a person dies the body is given bath and dressed up traditionally. If the wife dies before the husband then the wife is dressed up in red colour. Body is decorated with flowers and sandal wood. The body is taken to procession to the important places of dead person.. they usually burn the body because they believe that burning alone relieves the spirit.

4.Muslim: they believe that soul continues to live after death. They eyes of the deceased is closed and hands are tied crossed over the chest with the head facing mecca. The Male bodies are handled by Male and female dead bodies are handled by female. Non muslims are not allowed to touch the body... women are not allowed to burial .. the body is buried with their face right facing the mecca.body is surrounded by wooden blocks so no earth touches the body.

These are a few major traditional practices.

B. Ways to support is to assist the family in traditional practises if really required. Because as mentioned above few religions do not allow other religious people to touch the body.

11. When on duty if a patient heat rate and respiratory rate become nil, have to inform the duty doctor where the doctor will do confirmation... ECG must be taken, pupils must be checked , all the pulses must be checked. Once it is confirmed , then need to inform consultant and he will convey with the attenders of the patient. Nurse must inform the floor manager, account department to close the bill... the remaining unused medicines must be returned to the pharmacy... all the reports Xerox copy must be kept by the hospitals record and original must be returned at the time of shifting.... death certificate must be written by the consultant and death summary too.... mean while the body must be cleaned by removing all the venflon or any any other treatment devices.... body must be packed and kept... once the no due form is arrive then the reports, death certificate duplicate and patients belonging should be handed over to he attenders along with the body. Original death certificate must be collected from government office...
