DNP is designed for nurses seeking a terminal degree in nursing practice and offers an alternative to research focused doctorate program.

Nursing leaders encouraged this practice doctorate nursing degree as it is preparing the nurses for advanced practice roles and the growing need for more nurses can be fullfilled. DNP prepares nurse specialist at highest level of advanced practice , this course is mainly oriented towarda improving outcomes of care.
