1H NMR spectra shows quartet with values as 2.342, 2.376, 2.410, 2.444

Therefore, coupling constant = (difference between any two neighboring peaks) * instrument frequency

Coupling constant = (2.376 - 2.342)*400 = 0.034*400 = 13.6

And triplet with values 1.176, 1.210, and 1.244

Therefore, coupling constant = (difference between any two neighboring peaks) * instrument frequency

Coupling constant = (1.244 – 1.210)*400 = 0.034*400 = 13.6

Coupling constant is same which indicates that these are neighboring protons coupling with each other.
