The idea behind the marketing strategy of the Doritos for the game day was simple but very innovative
Doritos ask from its fans to submit their own original videos for winning the chance to the SuperBowl slot. Over more than 9 years the fans played it consistently and submitting thousands of their videos and by creating hype from the videos and pulling together to share, vote, and comment on their favorites.

While other brands clamor to snag the celebrities of the year Doritos think up of the commercial that can knock all the crowd and they trusted the number one fan-base that is its audience for creating the super bowl commercial.
The user-generated content is the best content to promote our own product and that is the same that is been used by the Doritos instead of hiring a celebrity for the endorsement they hired the influencer and asked him to create the hype before the campaigned was launched and this way the Doritos was able to make the engagement with its audience or the target customers and till now it is known as one of the best marketing strategies in the market that are started by the Doritos.
