Answer #1

TRANSCRIPTION

  • Transcription is the first of several steps of DNA based gene expression in which a particular segment of DNA is copied to RNA by the enzme RNA polymerase.
  • there are three stages in transcription ,initiation ,elongaton, and termnation.

RNA polymerase DNA is rewound Coding strand DNA is unwound Template strand Matching nucleotide is added RNA strand created NT

RNA PROCESSING

  • RNA processing in which a newly made precursor messenger RNA (pre-mRNA) transcript is transformed into a mature messenger RNA (mRNA).
  • During splicing, introns (Non-coding regions) are removed and exons (Coding Regions) are joined together.

  • translation is the process in which ribosomes in the cytoplasm or endoplasmic reticulum synthesize proteins after the process transcription of DNA to RNA in the cell's nucleus. The entire process is called gene expression.
